Recently, I received this box containing Bourjois Healthy Mix range’s Anti-Fatigue Foundation and also Concealer. This is my first time owning Bourjois’ product. From the name of this range, it seems like their products will be really good for the skin (o^―^o)
Range: Healthy Mix
Product: Anti-Fatigue Foundation, Anti-Fatigue Concealer
Shade: #52 Vanilla (Foundation), #52 Medium (Concealer)
Retail Price: $29.90 (Foundation 30ml), $17.50 (Concealer 7.8ml) [as at 20 Mar 2017]
Overall Rating: 4.5/5
The above Healthy Mix range is made with a new formula that contains a vitamin-infused complex that erases all signs of fatigue for a fresh and healthy-looking complexion. It is a blend of Vitamin C, E and B5 for anti-fatgue, anti-oxidant and revitalising respectively.
My shade is #52 Vanilla for foundation and #52 Medium for concealer. There are other shades available as well~
- Flawless, fresh, healthy-looking complexion
- Long-lasting medium coverage, up to 16hr coverage
- Semi-matte & ultra-lightweight finish
- All day 24hr hydration for maximum comfort throughout the day
- 70% more radiance for a natural, healthy-looking glow
Upon trying on, I found that all the above claims were really true! I am quite surprised. The anti-fatigue foundation is very lightweight, but it can even out the skin really well and does not have a feel sticky at all. Skin looks visibly brighter and more hydrated. Love that this foundation does not cause any ‘dots’ (stuck in pores) and flakiness on the nose/cheeks area. I had this problem with quite a few foundations. I highly recommend this for people with dry skin!
It has a pretty sweet scent too ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
- Spherical powders for blur and smooth for a silky finish
- Light-reflecting pigments for immediate radiance and undetectable finish
Upon trying the concealer, I found that my dark circles were much lighter. It brightened up my under eye area~ The first picture on the left is taken after the above foundation is applied. However, it did not really reduce the appearance of my eye bags.
It does smooth the skin and made the area more radiant. However, it did not really reduce the appearance of my eye bags.
I highly recommend this for people with dry skin and also people who are worried about lines in the eye area. It will not end up being so cakey and dry.
Before is taken at 9+am beside a window under sunlight.
After is taken at 10pm under indoor room lighting.
Not bad~ after more than 12 hours, my skin is still well hydrated and the coverage is still there too!
Not sure how lasting it will be for people with oily skin. But, it definitely works well on my dry skin! I recommend this range for people with dry or aging skin who do not require full coverage.
