I'm glad to announce that I've just completed the Professional Micropigment Course for Lips, and will be starting Lip Blush service at my home based studio in Sembawang!
What Is Lip Blush?
Lip blushing is a semi-permanent makeup procedure that enhances the color and shape of your lips. Colour pigments are deposited into your lips to restore the colour of your lips to a natural shade of pink/red. Lip blush gives a very natural-looking result akin to lip tint effect.
How Is The Procedure Like?
The procedure starts with numbing cream and analgesic gel to numb the lips. Then, pigment is applied to the lips using tattoo pen with a very thin needle. It takes around 2-3hrs for the whole procedure, depending on your lip condition. More sessions may be needed to achieve your desired shade if your lips are very dark or if you prefer a more intense look.
What Is The Down Time?
There may be some soreness and swelling right after the lip blush procedure. Usually swelling will subside within 1-3 days. Peeling of dead skin will start around the next day and should peel off completely by around day 5. Lips will heal in a week.
Before & After
Colour will first darken and lips will start peeling from the next day, After the dead skin is peeled off, the shade of lips will look faded. Do not be alarmed. The pigments in the deeper layers will start rising up to the surface over the next 5 weeks. By around week 5, you will see the actual shade of the lip blush. If any retouch is required, it can be done from then.
